Tröegs Perpetually Perpetual New Other Half Collaboration IPA
Tröegs Perpetually Perpetual IPA Collaboration
Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is getting ready to add another hop-forward collaboration to its lineup with the upcoming Perpetually Perpetual, a new double dry-hopped West Coast-style IPA brewed in collaboration with Other Half Brewing of New York.
The new Tröegs Perpetually Perpetual IPA is built around a four-hop combination of Amarillo, Cashmere, Citra and Mosaic. According to the newly revealed label, the 6.8% ABV IPA is designed to deliver prominent tropical and fruit-forward character, with the brewery specifically calling out peach, passionfruit and mango.
Packaged in 16-ounce cans, Tröegs Perpetually Perpetual brings together two breweries with strong reputations for hop-focused beer. Tröegs has made its Perpetual IPA one of the best-known IPAs in Pennsylvania, while Other Half has become widely associated with modern hop-forward brewing and intensely aromatic IPAs.
The label identifies the beer as a Double Dry-Hopped West-Coast Style IPA, placing Tröegs Perpetually Perpetual squarely in the territory of contemporary West Coast IPA brewing while maintaining the hop-driven character associated with both breweries.
The hop bill should make this collaboration particularly interesting for IPA fans. Amarillo is often associated with citrus and floral notes, while Cashmere can contribute fruit and soft citrus characteristics. Citra and Mosaic are two of the most recognizable modern American aroma hops, frequently associated with tropical fruit, citrus and berry-like character.
Tröegs describes the beer as a 6.8% ABV IPA, and the label specifically lists peach, passionfruit and mango as the tasting notes. The combination suggests a highly aromatic IPA where the double dry-hopping process is intended to emphasize hop aroma and fresh fruit character.
The collaboration also fits naturally into Tröegs’ long-running culture of experimentation. The Hershey brewery operates its Scratch Series and Scratch Lab as spaces for testing new ingredients, techniques and recipes, with numerous experimental beers produced over the years. Tröegs says its Scratch program has helped develop beers that eventually become larger releases.
For fans of Tröegs Perpetual IPA, the name Tröegs Perpetually Perpetual is an obvious nod to the brewery’s flagship IPA. The current Perpetual IPA is a 7.5% ABV year-round beer brewed with Bravo, Chinook, Mt. Hood, Nugget, Cascade and Citra hops, while Tröegs describes its character with citrus, pine and tropical fruit notes.
At this point, Tröegs Perpetually Perpetual IPA is an upcoming release, with final release timing and distribution details still to be announced. What we do know is that the collaboration will arrive in 16-ounce cans at 6.8% ABV, giving hop fans another reason to watch for the latest release from Tröegs Independent Brewing.

About Tröegs Independent Brewing:
Tröegs Independent Brewing is a family-owned craft brewery based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, founded by brothers John and Chris Trogner in 1996. The brewery’s first keg was sold in 1997, and Tröegs eventually moved its entire brewing operation from Harrisburg to its current Hershey location in October 2011. Today, Tröegs operates at 200 East Hersheypark Drive and remains independently owned and family operated.
Tröegs has built a strong reputation around hop-forward American beer, innovative brewing and its extensive Scratch Series of experimental beers. The brewery’s best-known beer is Perpetual IPA, a 7.5% ABV year-round Imperial Pale Ale featuring Bravo, Chinook, Mt. Hood, Nugget, Cascade and Citra hops. Tröegs describes Perpetual with flavors and aromas of citrus, pine and tropical fruit.
The Tröegs Scratch Series is particularly important to the brewery’s approach to innovation. What began as a small-batch experimental program has produced hundreds of beers and helped Tröegs explore new hop combinations, brewing techniques and recipes. The brewery also operates a three-barrel Scratch Lab, allowing its brewing team to conduct smaller-scale experiments before determining whether a beer should receive a broader release.
Beyond Perpetual IPA, the Tröegs beer lineup includes recognizable Pennsylvania craft beer favorites such as Troegenator Double Bock, Nugget Nectar, Mad Elf, Sunshine Pilsner, DreamWeaver Wheat, LolliHop Double IPA, Leaf Seeker IPA and Double Perpetual IPA. The brewery’s seasonal and once-a-year releases have become an important part of its identity, while the Scratch Series continues to provide a platform for experimentation.
Tröegs also emphasizes locally sourced ingredients, purchasing more than 225,000 pounds of local grain, honey and fruit each year. The brewery combines that Pennsylvania focus with ingredients and brewing inspiration from around the world, creating a beer portfolio that ranges from traditional styles to highly hopped modern IPAs.
The Hershey brewery also includes a Tasting Room, Snack Bar, General Store and brewery tour experience. Its ongoing commitment to experimentation makes collaborations such as Tröegs Perpetually Perpetual with Other Half Brewing a natural extension of the brewery’s approach to exploring new combinations of hops, brewing techniques and flavor.
