Jolly Pumpkin – Collababeire Sour NEW
I always love the unique and interesting beers coming out of Jolly Pumpkin Brewing in Dexter, MI, so I was really excited to see the approval of their NEW special holiday ale Collababeire. This is an “ale brewed with chestnuts, juniper, sage and caraway—Oak Aged bottle conditioned SOUR ale” so it should be a crazy beer to say the least. This is the ABSOLUTE FIRST PEEK at this beer so you’re seeing it here first! The label features the Haiku’s
Triad formed
Saged hills speak slowly
beer is born
Second batch
Distant Mountain Land
Drops to sea
Chapter three
Third coast offers
Fleeting fall
As you decode the Haiku, you’ll find that this is Jolly Pumpkin’s 3rd version, with previous collaborations with Nøgne Ø & Stone Brewing. Putting on my best detective cap, I’d say this year’s collaboration will include individual brews by each? Nonge’s logo DOES appear in the candle and the pumpkin DOES look like the Stone Logo but what of the Third Coast reference (Jolly Pumpkin)??
