Ommegang XV–15th Anniversary Ale Trappist Dark Ale

Here’s a new beer coming from our pal Phil Leinhart @ Brewery Ommegang to celebrate their 15th Anniversary.  Up today is XV 15th Anniversary Ale.  It’s a Belgian-Style Trappist Dark Ale, and yes it’s significant that the word “trappist” appears on the label.  This beer is brewed to honor not only the 15th anniversary of Ommegang, but also to honor “some of the world’s most desired ales….The dark Trappist ales of Belgium are made with the simplest of ingredients yet offer rich complex aromas & flavors.”  This beer uses “ommeganygeast”, it will be package din 750ml bottles and come in at 9.1% ABV.
