Owner Of Do Can Brewery Killed in Lowell, MA

The man who died Friday afternoon when he was pinned between two vehicles was Patrick Slattery, a married father of two who owned the Do Can Brewery and the adjacent Innovative Fabrication.

The Tewksbury resident was killed Friday in a workplace accident at Innovative Fabrication is now being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. He was pinned between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck when he was attempting to free the truck out of snow, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
