Tröegs Gives Back to Community Through Perpetual Giving
HERSHEY, Pennsylvania – Tröegs Independent Brewing announces the return of Perpetual Giving, a partnership with Feeding Pennsylvania established to raise funding and awareness for local food pantries.
Returning for its third year, this annual campaign encourages Tröegs fans to “Drink great beer and do great things” as part of the independent, family-owned brewery’s Aletruism program.
Now through December 31, the Hershey, PA-based brewery will donate a portion of proceeds from sales of Perpetual IPA – the best-selling craft beer in Pennsylvania – to Feeding Pennsylvania.
“The holiday season serves as a reminder of the ever increasing and real issue of food insecurity,” says Tröegs co-founding brother Chris Trogner. “We’re proud to partner with our amazing wholesalers to provide aid to Feeding Pennsylvania and local food pantries in our home state.”
Food insecurity in Pennsylvania has risen by more than 40% in the past two years, with 1.7 million people struggling to access enough food. Feeding Pennsylvania’s network of food banks spans all sixty-seven counties and distributes more than 237 million pounds of food to almost 3,000 agencies and food pantries.
Since the campaign’s inception in 2023, Tröegs has donated more than $40,000 to Feeding Pennsylvania. Every dollar generated provides approximately four meals, equating to about 160,000 meals reaching food-insecure residents across the commonwealth.
“We applaud Tröegs for prioritizing food insecurity in Pennsylvania at this critical moment,” said Julie Bancroft, CEO, Feeding Pennsylvania. “Our network of food banks, pantries and meal programs are trusted community resources during times of disruption, and we will continue to do all we can to serve our neighbors facing hunger, but we can’t do it alone. This campaign exemplifies the ‘neighbors helping neighbors’ philosophy and will bolster resources for our charitable food network during this time of great need.”

Family-owned. Independently crafted.
In the past 25 years, Tröegs has grown from two brothers to 250 people, but we’re still very much a family business. Because we stay true to our core values of independence and family ownership, we’ve kept the small-brewery DNA we all hold dear.
Perpetual exploration
Our small-batch Scratch Series and 3-barrel Scratch Lab are where we do the work needed to understand the “why” at the intersection of ingredients, technique and flavor.
Local ingredients
We live and brew in fertile central PA, and we’re proud to support our local farmers. Every year, we buy more than 225,000 pounds of local grain, honey and fruit to use in our beer.
