Toucan Cocktails are a line of “ready-to-mix” (RTM) canned cocktails that use a patented “two-can” technology to keep the spirit and mixer separate until you are ready to combine them. This design aims to preserve the freshness and flavor of the ingredients, providing a high-quality, bar-style cocktail experience without the need for a bartender.
The Toucan concept

The idea for Toucan Cocktails originated in an MBA entrepreneurship class at Southern Methodist University. Co-founders John Dallager and Steven McCarthy aimed to solve the issue of a lack of premium, portable cocktail options. The final product was designed for quality and convenience in settings where bar-quality drinks are typically unavailable, such as on the road, at a picnic, or at a party.

The packaging is central to the Toucan experience, featuring two cans that snap together. To make a drink, you add ice, then combine the ingredients by pouring the top can’s contents into the bottom can before shaking and enjoying.

Toucan Cocktails are available in a variety of classic flavors. Products are sold in packages that each contain six Toucan cans and produce 12 cocktails.

Old Fashioned: Made with Kentucky Straight Bourbon, this version is bold and smooth, with notes of aged cherry, orange zest, and bitters.
Margarita: This drink is made with tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, and features a blend of lime juice for a fresh, balanced flavor.
