On Friday, reservations will open for the brand new Dogfish Inn in Lewes, Del., with stays beginning July 4th weekend.
Reservations will be available through the end of summer at dogfishinn.com.
The Dogfish Inn brings Dogfish Head’s signature off-centered approach to hotel culture and beer tourism. Overlooking Lewes Harbor in a prime location between the Dogfish Head brewpub and distillery in Rehoboth Beach and the production brewery in Milton, the Dogfish Inn celebrates the scenic beaches, charming towns and outdoor adventures coastal Delaware has to offer.
Rooms at the inn will be in the mid-$200s on weekdays and high-$200s on weekends. The suite, dubbed Sweet!, will be in the high-$400s on weekdays and the high-$500s on weekends. There’s a two-night minimum on Fridays and Saturdays.

The inn embraces modern style and convenience while celebrating a bygone era of family vacations, big cars and endless summers. Designed by Studio Tack in Brooklyn, N.Y., and Dogfish Head, it features 16 rooms filled with thoughtful beer-centric amenities and design elements.
Each room includes a wool Dogfish blanket created in collaboration with the iconic American apparel maker Woolrich. You’ll also find a Tivoli radio and screenprints of beer labels from Dogfish Head’s music collaborations.
Local artist Steve Rogers has created a treasure hunt of sorts by painting the historic Lightship Overfalls somewhere in each room. A National Historic Landmark and one of only 17 lightships remaining, the Lightship Overfalls is docked just a few hundred feet away.
Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge stocked with locally made snacks, and there’s barware to enjoy the beers guests bring back from the Dogfish brewery and brewpub. Retro American-made beach chairs and Apolis tote bags are ready for trips to the local beaches.
The cottage features a library curated by the renowned City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco. Borrow or buy a beach read or a heavy hitter.

At night, guests can gather on the patio around the Cowboy Cauldron and count shooting stars with friends and family.
With all these thoughtful touches, it’d be tempting to stay inside. But to help guests get out and about, the team at Dogfish has put together a treasure map highlighting local landmarks. With the kayak launch, the nearby Junction & Breakwater Trail and Cape Henlopen State Park, the inn acts as a diving board to go deep into the beauty of coastal Delaware by bike, by hike, by paddleboard, by boat, by golly.
Just a few hours from Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York, coastal Delaware offers beautiful summers and temperate shoulder seasons. On Oct. 1, for example, when the average temperature on Martha’s Vineyard is 58 and the water temperature is 62, the air in Delaware is 66 and the water is 68, making the Dogfish Inn the perfect launch point to explore the natural goodness in every direction.
The Dogfish Inn provides a welcoming and relaxed environment for guests to rest easy and recharge while exploring the scenic region of Dogfish Head’s home base in Delaware.
