Should the deal proceed, the new brewery would be in a central Vermont town “very close” to Waterbury, Kimmich said. She declined to name the location until the deal is final.
“Until we close it’s not a done deal,” [Jen] Kimmich said.
At its second brewery, the Alchemist will produce other craft beers. It will have a tasting room and retail shop where Heady Topper and the company’s other beers are available for sale.
“We have something we’re very optimistic about,” Kimmich said. “It meets all our criteria.
