Here’s your first look at the 750ml packaging for Surly Brewing Five Beer. This 5-year Anniversary Ale is a sour ale aged in red wine barrels and features artwork by Aesthetic Apparatus. This dark ale is also 100% Brett-yeast and has flavors of “sour cherry, tobacco, oak and classic Brett funk balanced by Dark Munich malt chewiness.”
UPDATE: I heard from brew master Todd Haug @ Surly and he tells me they plan to bottle around 9000 bottles.
