Monday Night Brewing , based in Atlanta, Georgia, is gearing up for a high-profile collaboration release this March: AleMax, a bold and hazy New England IPA brewed in partnership with Ale Sharpton and Craig Stroud, founders of the nationwide beer-and-sneaker movement known as AleMax.

AleMax will be a New England-style IPA that lands at a powerful 9% ABV, delivering a juicy, hop-saturated (Citra, Nectaron & Strata hops) experience with a smooth mouthfeel and tropical aroma. The beer will be packaged in 16-oz cans, featuring exclusive artwork inspired by sneaker culture and timed to coincide with Nike Air Max Day 2026.
What Is AleMax?

AleMax is a curated, cross-cultural experience that merges craft beer and sneaker culture, founded by longtime beer ambassador Ale Sharpton and creative strategist Craig Stroud. The project celebrates the intersection of style, community, and flavor—bringing together sneakerheads, beer enthusiasts, and local creatives through limited-edition beer releases, pop-up events, and brand collaborations.

Timed annually around Nike’s Air Max Day, AleMax events feature exclusive drops like the ALE MAX 1 Hazy IPA, DJ sets, art showcases, and curated tastings that highlight the diversity and innovation within the craft beer world. The goal is to build community and elevate underrepresented voices in both the beer and sneaker industries.

AleMax NEIPA: A Bold Collaboration Brew

The upcoming AleMax New England IPA is designed to reflect the energy and creativity of the AleMax movement. With its high ABV, hazy body, and expressive hop profile, the beer is expected to be a standout release in Monday Night Brewing’s 2026 lineup. Known for its commitment to quality and experimentation, Monday Night Brewing continues to push boundaries with collaborations that blend culture, flavor, and storytelling.

I’ve also added in the non-collaboration Cherry Skies sour red ale aged in red wine barrels with tart cherries (7%-AbV, 500ml bottles) & Apricrunk apricot wild ale (6%-AbV, 500ml bottles).2026 Monday Night Apricrunk 500ml Bottles

Label Text Monday Night Brewing Cherry Skies:

“Bright, vibrant, and beautifully balanced, Cherry Skies delivers just enough tartness to keep you reaching for another sip. Lush waves of fresh cherry glide across the palate, layered with delicate red wine character and whispers of malt. Each pour opens with a lively burst of fruit, followed by a graceful acidity that lifts and refreshes without overwhelming. The finish is smooth, slightly dry, and gently complex — like drifting through crimson clouds at sunset. One taste, and you’ll be floating.”

Label Text Monday Night Brewing Apricrunk:

“Get ready to get crunked.
Born from spontaneous fermentation via cool Atlanta air, Apricrunk captures the untamed character of the wild—where native microflora work their magic and bring layered funk to radiant fruit. An abundance of fresh, juicy apricots bursts forward with bright tartness and lush, jammy depth.
Patiently barrel-fermented and thoughtfully aged, this wild ale develops nuanced acidity, soft oak complexity, and a beautifully rounded finish. Artfully blended to achieve balance, vibrancy, and maximum sensory impact.
Wild. Funky. Unapologetically crunk.“

About Monday Night Brewing:

Monday Night Brewing originally grew out of a small Atlanta Bible study. We started brewing beer together on Monday nights back in 2006 as a way to get to know each other better. As we learned more about brewing (and each other), we started making better, more complex beers. Friends, neighbors, and random strangers started joining us in our driveway to brew and commune together. Beer quickly became more than just a weeknight hobby.

Back in our homebrewing days, our three founders (Jeff, Joel, and Jonathan) had white collar day jobs. They wore neckties to work and would ceremoniously loosen their ties on Monday evenings before brewing that week’s batch of beer. The loosened necktie has remained with us as a symbol of doing what you love with your career, and making every day (not just weekends) exceptional.

We spent almost 5 years perfecting our beers before bringing them to market, launching in 2011 in Atlanta. Our West Midtown location opened up in early 2013, and is focused on core beer production and small batch hoppy beers. In September 2017, we opened our second facility. Monday Night Garage, located in southwest Atlanta, is our home for barrel-aged, sour beers and experimentation. Plus dinosaurs.

We are passionate about Atlanta and the Georgia communities that have embraced us. We focus our community efforts on childhood education and development, specifically in the communities around our breweries that need the most support.

We give to our surrounding neighborhoods first so that we can have the most impact possible with our limited resources.

Please reach out to us if you are affiliated with a school that could use a little extra help (whether you are a teacher, administrator, or parent) and we can talk more about what we might be able to do.
