Leinenkugel’s Approaching 1-Million Barrels & New Seasonal Shandy Flavors Coming

Under Tenth & Blake’s guidance, overall Leinenkugel’s production has grown to nearly 1 million barrels (a barrel equals 31 gallons) from 500,000 in three years. A national advertising campaign launched in March and the brewer sold out two weeks earlier than planned.
Now the company is selling an orange-flavored shandy to see if the style can be extended year-round. Leinenkugel’s is experimenting with at least eight other flavors for possible winter and spring varieties.
