This is apparently not uncommon for Labatt’s around the holidays. Details from The Vancouver Sun:
It’s time to check your garage or basement for empty beer bottles. Labatt’s breweries say there is a shortage of glass bottles and they’re putting the call out to return empties to a recycling depot.
