Hoppin’ Frog & The Rare Beer Club Team Up For Rauchfräug
Today, I have a new smoked beer coming from Hoppin’ Frog in Akron, Ohio. This is Rauchfräug, and it will be brewed for The Rare Beer Club in 2026. The beer will be a strong Märzen-style lager that will hit 7.4%-AbV, and the beer will be packaged in 16-oz cans….and for those asking, the label script of “Frosch Räucherte Stacken Märzen Nach Bamberger Art” translates to “Frog Smoked Stacked Marzen Bamberg Style.” Stay tuned for club release details.
