Great Divide Brewing Adding Maple Pecan Yeti Cans

Just a few days ago, I brought you some new Yetis, and today I have yet another coming from Great Divide Brewing in Denver, Colorado. This is Maple Pecan Yeti and it will be an imperial stout with maple syrup and pecans that will walk in at 9.5%-AbV. Look for Great Divide Maple Pecan Yeti to be packaged in 12-oz cans and stay tuned for release details.

About Great Divide Maple Pecan Yeti:

In the late 80s, Brian Dunn spent 5 years abroad building farms in developing countries, cultivating his passion for beer. Upon returning to Colorado, he began homebrewing and pursued graduate studies. In 1993, in a nascent Denver beer scene, he embarked on founding what would become one of America’s most acclaimed craft breweries.

Starting with a marketing study and a business plan, he seized an opportunity in Denver’s emerging Ballpark Neighborhood with a goal of brewing distinctive, well-balanced beers. With financial support from family, friends, and a loan from the City of Denver, his dream of commercial brewing became a reality in 1994.

Since then, Great Divide has gone on to become one of the most decorated breweries in America, recognized for having brewed some of the globe’s most balanced yet assertive and flavorful beers.

These beers have landed an impressive amount of acclaim, earning 19 Great American Beer Festival Medals, 5 World Beer Cup Awards, and 14 spots on Beer Advocate’s “Top Rated Beers: Colorado”.
