Gigantic Brewing proudly presents Royal Rosarian Lager – our celebratory Maibock brewed in honor of Portland’s official ambassadors of goodwill.

Crafted in collaboration with Royal Rosarian Prime Minister Amy Arasmith, this golden lager is rich, smooth, and worthy of the throne. Expect toasted malt, a touch of gentle honey sweetness, and a crisp, clean finish—a perfect toast to Rose Festival season.

Since 1912, the Royal Rosarians have welcomed visitors, spread good cheer, and represented Portland around the world with their signature phrase: “For you a rose in Portland grows.”

We’re releasing this beer with a Rose Planting Ceremony at our Hawthorne location on Saturday, May 24 at noon. Join us and the Royal Rosarians as we plant an Oktoberfest rose on the patio, raise a glass, and kick off the Rose Festival season in style. Beer will be flowing on tap, and cans will be available to go.

Royal Rosarian Lager will be available for a limited time at all three Gigantic locations, and at fine bars and beer shops around Portland—just in time for Rose Festival.

Seth Allen’s Live Comedy Extravaganza returns to the Gigantic Brewery on Friday, May 30th, and this month’s lineup is stacked with some of the best comics in the game.

Joining Seth for a night of absurd brilliance, sharp wit, and charming chaos:

David Tveite – A self-proclaimed purveyor of “doom-lite” comedy, David’s darkly whimsical takes have landed him on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and stages across the country. He’s clever, weird, and devastatingly funny.

Cameron Peloso – Portland’s Funniest Person 2023. Cameron blends introspective storytelling with tight, punchy jokes. Come find out why he’s one of the city’s rising comedy stars.

Delaney Malone – Thoughtful, fearless, and hilarious. Delaney brings a fresh, commanding presence to the stage.

Chase Brockett – Chase calls himself “America’s nephew,” and honestly? He’s not wrong. His affable frustration and sharp timing make for comedy gold.
