Deschutes Brewery's Giant Street Pub Hits Chicago

Not only will there be a huge selection of Deschutes Brewery beers flowing from the Street Pub’s multitude of taps, but there will be great food to pair with it. Deschutes Brewery’s corporate executive chef, Jeff Usinowicz, will be teaming up with a few local Chicago chefs to create some dishes that complement the many beers being served (think everything from the easy-drinking Mirror Pond Pale Ale all the way to the big and bold flavors of The Abyss).

Keeping with the spirit of local collaboration, Deschutes will also be partnering with Revolution Brewing by including a guest tap featuring one of their beers, doing a joint cooking demo with one of their chefs, and joining forces for a brewers’ Q&A.

This family-friendly event will also feature bar games for prizes, special samplings and a simply amazing live, local music lineup that includes Environmental Encroachment, Seafair and Hush Train.

Deschutes Brewery Street Pub’s grand opening is also its final night, so make sure to be there for this one day only event! 

When: Saturday, August 22, 2-10 p.m.

Where: Logan Square at N. Milwaukee and N. California Ave.

Admission: Free for all ages
