Coronado Brewing Working On Hazy Weekend & Bonanza

We’ve all awakened on a Monday morning after having a bit too much fun and looked back on a hazy weekend, but that’s about to become a good thing. Coming to us from Coronado Brewing in Coronado, California, today, I have Hazy Weekend hazy IPA. This beer will be a cloudy, citrusy, tropical IPA that will hit 6.5%-AbV. You’re looking at the 16-oz can, and stay tuned for the full release details. I’ve also added in 2026 Bonanza IPA with mango (7.2%-AbV, 16-oz Cans).

The Founders
Brothers Ron and Rick Chapman realized a long-time dream and got ahead of the craft brew curve in a big way, opening a brewpub in the heart of their hometown of Coronado on Aug. 30th. Pioneers of craft brewing, they found themselves in an industry of 1 of 5 in San Diego at that time. They worked with an original brewing system of 10-bbl brewhouse, (3) 10-bbl fermenters and (3) 10-bbl serving tanks.

Coronado Brewing Company is a San Diego, California-based, independent craft brewery founded by the Chapman brothers in 1996. Known for its West Coast-style beers, particularly hoppy ales, the company started as a brewpub and has grown into a regional production brewery with distribution across the US and internationally. Coronado Brewing has received numerous awards, including the World Beer Cup Champion Brewery award for a mid-size brewery in 2014.

In 2014, Coronado Brewing Company won the World Beer Cup Champion Brewery and Brewmaster award for a mid-size brewing company, a prestigious industry honor.

Coronado Brewing’s beers are available in 14 US states and 12 countries, a significant expansion from their initial San Diego focus.
