Coronado Brewing Signs With Origlio Beverage For Philadelphia Distribution 3/31

Philadelphia, PA: The Coronado Brewing Company, located on beautiful Coronado Island just off the coast of San Diego, California, has selected Origlio Beverage to distribute their portfolio of fine beers in the Philadelphia region.

Grant Barrett, Origlio’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing said that his company is delighted to represent Coronado’s distinctive beers. "Anytime I’ve been in Southern California, I always sought out these beers. I am excited to work with Ron and Rick Chapman. They are dedicated craft brewers who brought home a silver medal from last fall’s Great American Beer Festival. Their Black Sails is an outstanding American-style black ale."

In 1996, brothers Ron and Rick Chapman realized a long-time dream and got ahead of the craft brew curve in a big way, opening a brewpub in the heart of their hometown of Coronado, California. Back then, craft beer was still a foreign term and San Diego County was home to a mere handful of breweries. The Chapmans had a clear-cut mission – to celebrate their islander roots through the creation of exceptional beer. With those noble ideals, Coronado Brewing Company was born and in no time became the pride and joy of the Crown City with an assortment of abundantly hoppy West Coast-style ales.

This award-winning craft brewery is a welcome addition to Origlio’s portfolio that includes some of the most respected breweries in the world. Starting on Monday, March 31st, beer drinkers in the Philadelphia-region will be able to enjoy Coronado’s year-round brands, Islander IPA, Orange Ave. Wit, Mermaid’s Red, Blue Ridge Coffee Stout and Idiot IPA in addition to seasonal offerings like Hoppy Daze, CBC’s spring release.
