Anderson Valley Releases Fall Hornin’ & More Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout & New Barrel-Aged Brews Coming Late 2013

We’re pleased to announce the release of our newest seasonal, Fall Hornin’!  Quickly becoming a fan favorite, we use real pumpkin puree and a select blend of spices to create a creamy, well-balanced steinber that’s both full-flavored and drinkable.  It also makes for a mighty bahl Black N’ Tan with our Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout! More Barrel-Aged Beers To Come

As Fall approaches and cooler weather settles in across the country, the thirst for more rich, complex, and fuller-bodied beers grows. However, not all barrel-aged beers need to boast high ABV percentages and over-the-top "burn"; for us, balance is everything. Enter Anderson Valley Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout!  Our three-month aging process in Wild Turkey barrels imparts a subtle (yet noticeable) bourbon character and woody, vanilla like aromas to compliment the luxurious body and roasty flavors of espresso and chocolate.  At 6.9% ABV, you don’t have to sacrifice flavor for drinkability.  

Oh and guess what?  We’ve been experimenting with other barrel-aged beers too… like Boont Amber, Belk’s ESB, and for those who like to go BIG, our Huge Arker Imperial Stout!  Look for these on tap in our tasting room and select craft beer establishments later this year and in early 2014.
