The Getaway Brewing Company and Antiques on High Debut Midwest’s First Charcuterie Vending Machine

Contactless vending machines to be stocked with locally sourced meats, cheeses and snacks

(Columbus, OH) – Antiques on High in German Village and the recently opened Getaway Brewing Company in Dublin announce their latest menu offering, a charcuterie vending machine. The breweries have stocked the vending machines with all the makings of the traditional charcuterie, with much of the products locally sourced.

“To our knowledge, these are the first charcuterie vending machines offered at a brewery,” said co- owner Collin Castore, whose group opened Antiques on High and Getaway Brewing Company after successfully founding and operating one of Columbus’ staples, Seventh Son Brewery. “It’s important to us to provide our customers with fun, unique products and experiences, and I think we’ve hit the mark with this. The fact that we’re also supporting great, local partners through our wide array of product offerings is icing on the cake.”

The charcuterie vending machine will offer, in broad categories: cheeses, meats, seafood, bread and miscellaneous snacks, with items such as brie, honey goat cheese, barrel aged whisky salami, chorizo, rainbow trout caviar, and sourdough flatbread crackers.

Individual prices range from $2 to $24, and feature product from local vendors such as: Weed Knob Acres, North Country Charcuterie, Saddleberk Farms, Black Radish Creamery, and The Butcher & Grocer. A menu can be found HERE.

The vending machines will accept Apply Pay and touch/tap contactless payment options and will provide compostable silverware and palm leaf compostable eco-friendly plates.
