While you’re here, don’t miss the draft-only Scratch #480, which continues our exploration of a grain bill we latched onto with #477. Keeping its blend of malted barley, oats and wheat, we scaled back from a big Double IPA to an easy-drinking Pale Ale. Again, we mash-hopped with Mittelfrüh for mild bitterness and added Azacca during the boil to coax out mango and citrus notes. More Azacca as the dry-hop, paired with Simcoe and Strata, lends hints of mixed berry and sweet fruit, while London 3 yeast bolsters the tropical flavors.  zzubreebym
