This morning I have your first peek at a returning pumpkin variants from Saint Arnold in Houston, TX.
This is 2023 Pumpkinator Aged In Bourbon Barrels and it will be an imperial pumpkin ale brewed with pumpkin and spices that is age din Bourbon barrels. The beer will slice in at 12.8%-AbV and you’re looking at the 12oz bottle. Stay tuned for release info. I’ve also added in 2023 Bourbon Barrel French Press (10.8%-AbV, 12oz bottles). zzubreebym

2023 Pumpkinator
It’s a tale for the ages. Pumpkinator was first brewed in 2009 as a part of our Divine Reserve series. It returned as a seasonal a couple of years later, and since then it’s earned two Great American Beer Festival medals and a World Beer Cup medal. No matter how much we brew, it’s never quite enough. On Monday, October 9, it returns.
Everything is a little over the top with our imperial pumpkin stout, which perversely makes it balanced. Beyond the big malt bill, it has pumpkin (lots of it), molasses, brown sugar, and a healthy load of spices. It’s 11.2% ABV, which makes it a dessert in a glass or the perfect companion to your holiday feast.
Along with the original, we’re also releasing Pumpkinator Aged in Bourbon Barrels. At 12.8% ABV, this barrel aged version is even bigger than the original.
Both of these beers will be available starting Monday, October 9. (Please note that not every account getting Pumpkinator will get it that day – some have other delivery days during the week.) You can find Pumpkinator in 22 oz bottles and on tap at select spots around town. The barrel aged version is available in 12 oz bottles.

Fresh Hop Ale
Fresh hop beers come but once a year – during the hop harvest season. Just so happens, now is that time, and we’ve just packaged and tapped the first keg of this year’s Fresh Hop Ale.
This time around, it’s an imperial hazy IPA double dry hopped with fresh Amarillo hops, flown in right after harvest and used within 24 hours of being picked. The hop aroma in this beer is as fresh as fresh gets.
The base beer is our Banger IPA. Giving it a double dose of freshly harvested whole cone hops turns up the volume on the citrus, orange-y, and floral aromas.
Fresh Hop Ale is now on tap at the Saint Arnold Beer Garden & Restaurant. We only kegged a small amount of this limited release beer, so it won’t last long. Enjoy it now!
