Summer isn’t over yet, but fall is just around the corner. And we’ve designed a new beer for the cooler days ahead. Skyglow just joined our lineup of seasonal India Pale Ales, and will be around through the end of October. Look for it across the Pacific Northwest wherever you shop for beer.
FRESH HOP FIELD TRIP
GET BEHIND THE SCENES DURING THE HARVEST 
Are you as excited about fresh hop season as we are? On Saturday, September 21st, we’re taking a lucky group of beer fans on a daylong excursion across the Cascades to learn about these fragrant green cones firsthand. Join us on our Fresh Hop Field Trip to experience the Yakima Valley like a professional brewer!
SOUNDERS WATCH PARTY
CHEER ON THE RAVE GREEN WITH US THIS SATURDAY 
As a member of the newly formed Sounders Craft Alliance, our Ballard Taproom is the official watch party location for the team’s game against Minnesota United this Saturday, August 24th. Sammy the Sounder will be in attendance for the first hour, and we’ll be raffling off tickets to a future Sounders home match, too!

8/22 – Story Slam with Wonderland Gear Exchange
We are once again teaming up with our friends at Wonderland Gear Exchange for a fun night of storytelling on Thursday, August 22nd. The loose theme of this story slam will be “Type 2 Fun,” a category best described as miserable while it’s happening, but funny in retrospect. Sign up online to share your misadventures!
8/25 – Kristen Marlo Live at the Ballard Taproom
Over the past decade, singer and guitarist Kristen Marlo has toured widely and released four recordings. Inspiration for her prolific songwriting comes from passion for new experiences. On Sunday, August 25th she’ll play two sets on the patio in Ballard starting at 5:30 p.m. All ages welcome. No cover.
8/26 – Music Bingo at the Ballard Taproom
Music Bingo combines two things everyone loves into a night full of fun and prizes! Every player gets six bingo cards and an answer key for each themed round. The host plays a clip from a song and contestants find the artist and mark the number on their card. It starts at 7:00pm and it’s free to play.
8/27 – Gratituesday with Seattle ProMusica in Fremont
Please join us on Tuesday, August 27th for another Gratituesday! We’re hosting Seattle Pro Musica, which seeks to enrich and inspire through the experience of choral artistry. We want to help. So when you buy a pint, taster tray, or a Crowler of beer to-go, we’ll donate $1 to this nonprofit organization.
8/28 – Trivia Night at the Ballard Taproom
Meet us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. for free trivia with Head in the Clouds. It’s hosted by Jeopardy! champions and questions cover a wide variety of topics, with a heavy bent toward pop culture. Come early to snag a table and order food, and stick around for a chance at a prize!
