Lift Bridge Brewing Company today announces the release of a brand new year round golden ale, FARM DAY, which will be available on draft and in 12oz six-packs and twelve-packs.

Lift Bridge Brewery is announcing the release of a new year round beer named Farm Day.  Farm Day is an easy-drinking, true Golden Ale with a delicate balance of malt sweetness and a blooming hint of floral hops. Each sip offers a smooth, refreshing experience as a reward for cultivating your own special farm day.

What’s happening with Farm Girl?

As we introduce Farm Day, we will be retiring Farm Girl, a beloved Lift Bridge classic. Since its debut in 2008, Farm Girl has been a cornerstone of our brewery, marking our first beer ever sold in the market. Over the years, we’ve launched dozens of flagship beers, seasonal and one-off releases, plus a diverse range of beverages, including sodas, hard seltzers, flavored malt beverages, ready-to-drink spirit-based drinks, THC-infused beverages, and non-alcoholic mocktails.

At Lift Bridge, innovation is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our ongoing commitment to bring fresh and exciting options to our fans, we regularly retire older brands to make way for new ones.

Farm Day’s recipe has been expertly crafted to result in an ultimately refreshing craft experience, surprisingly clean and light.  The name Farm Day is meant to evoke the feeling of finding your very own “Farm Day”, be it tending to your urban garden, mowing your lawn, or growing your own food. There’s a Farm Day to be had for everyone!

What is the difference between Farm Day vs Farm Girl?

Farm Day is a completely new recipe, it is a bright and balanced, easy-drinking golden ale in every sense of the style. Whereas Farm Girl carried over some of the Belgian influence from its original recipe which included some specialty malts, orange peel, and melon hop notes.

When is the switch to Farm Day happening?

Farm Day will be available on draft, in twelve-packs, and in six-packs beginning April 1st 2025 wherever Lift Bridge is sold. Because Farm Day is following directly behind Farm Girl, there may be stores that will have both products available for a short time.

Will we ever see Farm Girl again?

Farm Girl is retired, but we can never say never.  It is possible that we could bring back an original Farm Girl recipe in the future, but for now, let’s just enjoy a Farm Day!
