Baileys Original Irish Cream Brings Holiday Indulgence to 2026

The holidays are supposed to be fun, but somewhere between decorating the house, shopping for gifts, planning parties and trying to make everything look perfect, a lot of that fun starts feeling like work. Baileys Original Irish Cream is leaning into that problem with a new global campaign called “Bring on the Baileys,” a holiday marketing push built around spontaneous celebrations, creamy Irish cream liqueur and the idea that sometimes the best moments happen when nobody is following a plan. A little indulgence. A little less fuss.

That’s the thinking behind the new Baileys holiday campaign, which arrives as the brand looks to keep its signature Irish cream relevant to longtime fans while reaching a younger generation of adult drinkers. Rather than treating Baileys Original Irish Cream as something reserved for dessert or a special occasion after all the work is finished, the campaign puts the liqueur right into the middle of everyday celebrations, from holiday gatherings to an afternoon spent getting ready for a night out. The message is simple enough: you don’t need an elaborate cocktail menu or a perfectly planned party to enjoy a Baileys drink.

The new “Bring on the Baileys” campaign features two creative films, “Skater” and “Earrings,” with unexpected servings of Baileys Original Irish Cream providing the central gag in each spot. One features an unusual lakeside arrival with ice skaters serving Baileys over ice in decorated coupe glasses, while the other turns an ordinary hair salon visit into an impromptu indulgence involving miniature Baileys bottles worn as earrings. It’s playful advertising, certainly, but there’s a practical product message underneath the silliness: Baileys over ice remains an easy, recognizable serve, while cocktails such as the Baileys Espresso Martini and Baileys Gingerbread Martini give holiday hosts more options for entertaining.

The campaign also arrives with seasonal gift packs, Baileys Candy Cane offerings featuring 50 mL bottles and other festive packaging designed for holiday gifting, giving the Irish cream brand another way to get noticed during one of the busiest periods for spirits and liqueurs. With nationwide promotion across social media, digital channels, out-of-home advertising and radio, Baileys is making its case for a place at the holiday table, whether that means a simple glass over ice or a more elaborate seasonal cocktail. Here’s a closer look at the new campaign, the holiday drinks and limited-time offerings, and what Baileys has planned for the 2026 festive season.

The leading liqueur brand unveils a new global campaign with playful holiday creative, bringing spontaneity, indulgence and a fresh twist to classic winter traditions

NEW YORK, Oct. 20, 2026 — From the treats people look forward to all year to the spontaneous gatherings that become favorite memories, the holidays are a time to indulge in a little extra joy. This holiday season, Baileys is embracing spontaneity and indulgence with the launch of Bring on the Baileys, a new global platform introduced through two playful creative films, “Skater” and “Earrings,” rolling out nationwide across social and digital channels in late October. The year-round platform invites people to break from the routine with the beloved ritual of enjoying Baileys Original Irish Cream, bringing a little magic to holiday celebrations and everyday treating moments alike.

Consumer research that helped shape the latest creative revealed a growing tension around the holidays: while adults love making Christmas feel special, the relentless pressure to curate a picture-perfect festive season has turned celebration into hard work. Bring on the Baileys shifts Baileys from a traditional reward saved for after the work is done to an effortless, immediate way to bring a little extra indulgence to festive gatherings. The platform invites people to embrace the present and make room for moments of joy amidst the holiday bustle.

“The holidays could use a little less fuss and a little more playfulness. With Bring on the Baileys, we’re bringing a bolder, cheekier energy to the indulgence people already love us for,” said Olivia Kupfer, Director, Liqueurs at Diageo. “Part treat, part booze, our creamy, smooth liquid over ice delivers the familiar taste fans count on while introducing a new generation of Baileys drinkers to this beloved ritual. It’s an effortless way to add a splash of mischief to holiday traditions and turn gatherings into giddy get-togethers.”

Developed by AMV BBDO, the campaign puts Baileys Original Irish Cream over ice, the brand’s simple and iconic serve, at the heart of its seasonal storytelling. “Skater” brings that serve to life with a cheeky twist. Set against a festive lakeside gathering, three unexpected ice skaters arrive to deliver Baileys in stemmed coupe glasses adorned with strands of pearls and red gems draped over the rims, adding sparkle and festive fun to the occasion.

“Earrings” brings the campaign’s mischievous spirit to a busy hair salon, where a moment of pampering takes an unconventional turn. One character unscrews the miniature Baileys bottles dangling from her ears and pours Baileys over ice for her fellow salon-goers, turning a familiar routine into a spontaneous indulgent moment. Together, “Skater” and “Earrings” anchor a wider campaign spanning out-of-home advertising, social media and radio, extending the playful invitation to “Bring on the Baileys” throughout the holiday season.

There’s always room for a little more Baileys, so the brand is also giving holiday hosts and guests even more ways to indulge throughout the season. From Baileys Original Irish Cream over ice to the classic Baileys Espresso Martini and seasonal serves like the Baileys Gingerbread Martini, there’s a delicious Baileys serve for every holiday gathering.

The brand is also introducing a range of limited-time holiday offerings, including Baileys Candy Cane packs featuring 50mL bottles, festive bottle bows, and a special set pairing Baileys Original Irish Cream with a cocktail glass, perfect for gifting and bringing joy to the season. Baileys Original Irish Cream and select seasonal offerings are available nationwide wherever spirits-based beverages are sold for adults 21+.

Owned by R&A Bailey & Co., BAILEYS is currently ranked 7th among all distilled spirits sold worldwide. It’s the signature delicious balance of Irish Cream, whisky and fine spirits that makes BAILEYS Original Irish Cream the perfect little indulgence when you need a break from your daily routine. The BAILEYS portfolio includes Original Irish Cream, Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Espresso Crème, Strawberries & Cream, Coffee Toffee Non-Dairy Made with Oat Milk and Cookies & Creamy Non-Dairy Made with Oat Milk.

Core Variants:

  • Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur ($24.99)
  • Baileys Chocolate Liqueur ($24.99)

Baileys Original Irish Cream is one of the world’s best-known Irish cream liqueurs, combining Irish dairy cream, Irish whiskey and other spirits to create a rich, creamy drink associated with desserts, coffee, cocktails and everyday indulgence. First introduced in Ireland in 1974, Baileys helped establish Irish cream liqueur as a widely recognized category within the international spirits market, building a following among consumers looking for a sweeter, creamier alternative to traditional whiskey and other distilled spirits.

Owned by Diageo through R&A Bailey & Co., Baileys has grown from its Irish origins into an international brand available in markets around the world. Its familiar bottle and distinctive creamy profile have made Baileys Original Irish Cream a fixture in home bars, holiday gatherings, restaurants and cocktail menus. The brand has also expanded beyond its original expression, developing flavored varieties and alternative formulations designed to give consumers more options for different occasions.

Baileys Original Irish Cream is commonly served over ice, where its smooth texture and creamy character can be enjoyed without complicated preparation. It is also widely used in mixed drinks and dessert-inspired cocktails, pairing particularly well with coffee, chocolate and warm baking spices. Baileys Espresso Martinis offer a coffee-forward option for cocktail fans, while seasonal recipes such as the Baileys Gingerbread Martini bring familiar winter flavors into holiday entertaining. The liqueur can also be used in selected dessert recipes, including chocolate-based treats, creamy puddings and other sweets.

Seasonality has long been a natural fit for the Baileys brand. Its rich texture and dessert-like character make it an appealing addition to holiday menus, when consumers often look for festive drinks, edible gifts and special-occasion ingredients. Limited-time packaging, seasonal flavors and promotional partnerships help the brand remain visible during major celebrations, including Christmas, New Year’s Eve and St. Patrick’s Day. Baileys has also explored fashion-inspired collaborations and creative marketing designed to position the product as more than a traditional after-dinner drink.

The 2026 Bring on the Baileys campaign builds on that approach by encouraging adults to enjoy spontaneous moments rather than reserving Baileys Original Irish Cream exclusively for formal celebrations or carefully planned occasions. Its creative films, Skater and Earrings, use unexpected situations and playful presentation to reinforce the campaign’s message. The advertising also highlights a straightforward serving suggestion: Baileys Original Irish Cream over ice. Alongside that familiar serve, the brand promotes cocktail recipes and limited-time holiday products intended to support entertaining and gifting.

The wider Baileys portfolio includes varieties such as Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Espresso Crème and Strawberries & Cream, as well as non-dairy offerings made with oat milk, including Coffee Toffee and Cookies & Creamy. Availability varies by market. These products give the brand opportunities to reach consumers with different flavor preferences while maintaining its association with creamy, indulgent drinks.

Baileys is part of Diageo’s extensive global beverage alcohol business, which also includes well-known spirits and beer brands such as Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Don Julio. Diageo operates across international markets, with a portfolio spanning whisky, vodka, rum, tequila, gin, beer and liqueurs. Its distribution network and marketing resources support Baileys’ continued presence in retail outlets, bars and restaurants.

For consumers interested in Baileys Original Irish Cream, the brand’s website provides product information, cocktail recipes, seasonal inspiration and purchasing resources. Holiday offerings may include gift packs, miniature bottles and limited-time packaging, depending on availability and local distribution. In the United States, Baileys Original Irish Cream and participating seasonal products are sold through retailers authorized to sell spirits-based beverages to adults aged 21 and older.

From its introduction in Ireland in 1974 to its current international reach, Baileys has built its identity around Irish cream, approachable indulgence and versatile serving options. The Bring on the Baileys campaign continues that tradition, placing the familiar liqueur at the center of holiday cocktails, gifts and spontaneous celebrations while inviting a new generation of adult consumers to discover the brand.
