Tröegs Celebrates Graffiti Highway IPA with Tag the Summer Fest this Saturday
HERSHEY Pennsylvania – Tröegs Independent Brewing announces its inaugural Tag the Summer Fest, a celebration of the brewery’s popular year-round Graffiti Highway IPA, set to take place on Saturday, May 30.
The five-hour event kicks off at 1 p.m. in the brewery parking lot and will feature hands-on activities for the entire family along with food trucks, artisan vendors, and more.
The focal point of the festival is a live art battle featuring graffiti artists from Lancaster, PA-based Wall 2 Wall. Over the course of the day, three artists will race to bring Graffiti Highway-inspired pieces to life on large 5- x 6-ft. canvases. Spectators can get in on the fun by voting for their favorite.
“This festival is all about the colorful, expressive, and adventurous spirit of Graffiti Highway’s namesake,” explains Tröegs co-founding brother Chris Trogner. “We hope to create an artistic day at the brewery that the whole family can enjoy.”
Throughout the day, attendees can get their hands dirty by visiting family-friendly activity stations, including face and body painting, tie-dyeing, graffiti stamp making, and a community graffiti chalk wall, all while supplies last.
For food options, Uncle B’s Philly Cheesesteaks and Cubby’s Ice Cream Cruiser will be on-site, and Tröegs will offer a variety of food specials inside the brewery at the Snack Bar.
Of course, a wide variety of Tröegs beer will be available to purchase inside and outside the brewery. In addition to Graffiti Highway IPA and Double IPA, attendees can try two new limited variations: Graffiti Highway Downshift IPA, a lighter 4.5% ABV beer; and Graffiti Highway Single Hop IPA featuring Mosaic hops.
Tröegs is offering exclusive Tag the Summer merchandise including T-shirts, bandanas, and glassware, all of which will be available for purchase during the event.
Tag the Summer Fest will take place at Tröegs Brewery, located at 200 E. Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, PA. Admission is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome to attend.
