The beloved, fan-favorite flavor returns for a limited time nationwide this April

St. Louis, Missouri – April 13, 2026 – The moment apple-loving beer drinkers have been waiting for is here: Busch Light Apple is officially BACK. After countless online pleas and petitions from its passionate fanbase, Busch Light, the #2 fastest-growing beer in America1, is bringing back its highly sought-after apple-flavored lager. The beloved limited-edition brew will hit shelves nationwide this month and be available while supplies last.

Since its debut in 2020, the frenzy around Busch Light Apple has been real, inspiring Busch Light to bring the hype to life by seeding a series of “core-ageous” ideas. The brand’s flannel-clad mascot, Busch Guy, debuted the beer with a tech-style keynote, followed by a helicopter airdrop delivering cases to fans in 2021. Though the beloved brew disappeared from shelves after 2022, fans never stopped asking for its return—chasing down delivery trucks, stockpiling cases, and even forming Facebook groups and Reddit threads dedicated to the iconic apple-flavored lager.

Krystyn Stowe, Head of Marketing, Busch Family & Natural Family at Anheuser-Busch, said: “Last year’s return of Busch Light Apple created a frenzy among fans, and the excitement only kept building when we announced it was coming back again this year. Our fans made it clear just how much they missed that crisp, refreshing apple flavor, so bringing it back was an easy decision. We’re excited to give them another chance to enjoy the Busch Light Apple they’ve been asking for.”

Busch Light Apple is a refreshing-to-the-core light lager with a crisp apple flavor, offering a touch of sweetness on the front end and a clean, smooth beer finish on the back end. Fans quickly proved their love for the brew. Last year, 1.2 million cases were sold in the first month alone2, and it was named the #1 LTO Innovation of 20253. The return of Busch Light Apple also helped expand the beer category last year, with 27% of sales coming from shoppers new to the category4.

In honor of the return in 2026, Busch Light is once again teaming up with Ronald Wayne, a businessman who knows an opportunity when he sees one. Last year, Wayne leaned into his famous apple history by “investing” in Busch Light Apple, proving that sometimes the best investment is the one you can crack open. Now partnering with the brand again, he couldn’t be happier with how it’s paid off. After going all in on Busch Light Apple last year, Wayne is back to celebrate the brew’s comeback and prove that betting on the limited time only, crisp, apple-flavored brew was a pretty smart move after all, this time unlocking a few one-of-a-kind experiences along the way. Check out the video HERE.

Ronald Wayne, a co-founder of one of the most influential computer companies in the world, said: “Last year, I told everyone to stock up on Busch Light Apple, and I followed my own advice. Safe to say this investment has paid off big time. I’m thrilled Busch Light Apple is coming back in 2026 so everyone can get in on the action. This is one investment you can’t go wrong with.”

The celebration doesn’t stop there – Busch Light is giving fans the chance to live like Ronald and score incredible prizes and exclusive giveaways through the Busch Light Apple Sweepstakes.* Busch Light and Trackhouse Racing have teamed up to give fans the chance to live out their NASCAR fantasy with the ultimate prize – a one-day contract with Trackhouse Racing. The prize includes a trip to the Trackhouse Racing shop in Concord, NC, a signing bonus, and more!
