This morning, I have a new collaboration sour ale coming from Tripping Animals in Doral, Florida. This is All Birds Go South, and it will be brewed in collaboration with Ārpus Brewing in Latvia. The beer will be a sour ale conditioned with peach, red currant, coconut, honey, and vanilla that will fly in at 6%-AbV. Look for Tripping Animals All Birds Go South to be packaged in 16-oz cans and stay tuned for release details.

About Us
It was back in 2011 that the crew started brewing beer out of their garage in Caracas, Venezuela, making wild concoctions with whatever they could get their hands on and stoking the flames of their passion for craft beer. After years of traveling to breweries all around the world and experimenting with different styles of brewing, the crew took a leap of faith and moved to Miami to pursue the next chapter of their brewing careers. It was finally in 2018 that Daniel Chocron, Ignacio Montenegro, Iker Elorriaga, and Juan-Manuel Torres came across their dream location and Founded Tripping Animals Brewing Company in the heart of Doral, Florida.

Connecting Through Beer

Tripping Animals is dedicated to building and elevating the vibrant communities of Doral, Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale, and greater Miami by fostering a craft beer culture that promotes community outreach, Arts + Music initiatives, and inclusive spaces. Whether you’re discovering our bold, innovative beers in Miami or exploring the growing beer scene near Fort Lauderdale, our mission remains the same: to create spaces where people connect, collaborate, and celebrate creativity. With every pour, we aim to inspire modern movements that invite our patrons to engage, question, and transform the world around them—one neighborhood and one beer at a time.

The Vision
The vision of Tripping Animals is to build and nurture a family of creative and passionate individuals focused on brewing the highest quality craft beer possible by implementing innovative and exciting strategies meant to exceed the expectations of what a beer can truly be. In providing a one-of-a-kind taproom experience for patrons, we inspire a sense of community and connection.

Tripping Animals is independent and family-owned and we wanted that energy to permeate and be the soul of the brewery.

We hope you find a haven of creativity and inspiration here with us, and our hope is that with time, you’ll consider Tripping Animals a home away from home.
