Limited-time-only flavor Busch Light Apple is the #1 beer innovation in 2025, delivering 2.5x more volume than the closest competitive beer innovation 


St. Louis, Missouri – August 26, 2025 – By rewarding those who hold true to their roots, Busch Light continues to drive momentum as the nation’s #2 fastest-growing beer¹ behind only Michelob ULTRA, and has risen to become the #6 largest beer brand by volume in the U.S.² The beloved limited-time-only flavor Busch Light Apple is the beer industry’s #1 innovation, more than twice the size of the closest competitive beer innovation, despite only being sold for two months.³

• Busch Light is currently the #1 top-selling beer in 10 different states: Ohio, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, and Missouri.⁴
• Busch Light continued to surge across the U.S. in the first half of 2025, growing more volume in Florida, Texas, New York, Oklahoma, and Alabama than in any other states.⁵

Summer Innovations: The beer brewed for the great outdoors accelerated this powerful sales momentum with two major limited-time-only flavor innovations: the return of Busch Light Apple and the introduction of Busch Light Lime.

Busch Light Apple: Following overwhelming consumer demand, the viral product made its triumphant return earlier this year with consumers 21+ lining up in stores to stock up on Busch Light Apple and even posing with the beloved “Bapple” in photos.

• During its launch week, Busch Light Apple amassed over 2.5% market share of the U.S. beer industry – making it the #9 largest beer brand in the country after just one week on shelves.⁶
• In its launch month, Busch Light Apple captured more market share of the U.S. beer industry than any other brand, selling 1.2 million total cases.⁷
• In the month of May, 15% of Busch Light Apple shoppers were 21–27-year-old legal drinking age adults, which is nearly double the average of 21–27-year-old legal drinking age beer shoppers.⁸

Busch Light Lime: Following the enormous success of Busch Light Apple, Busch Light introduced another flavor innovation in June – Busch Light Lime. In its launch month, Busch Light Lime captured more share in the 25 states where it was available than any other brand in the industry: selling 288,000 cases in its first month, 5.3x more than the closest competitive beer innovation.⁹
