Budweiser curates engaging fan experience featuring the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s iconic No. 8 paint scheme and the Bristol Bud Crew


St. Louis, MO – July 24, 2025 – In celebration of the MLB Speedway Classic presented by BuildSubmarines.com in Bristol, TN, Budweiser is once again teaming up with two American icons, Major League Baseball and NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., to deliver an unforgettable experience at the ultimate American summer event. To bring this to life, Earnhardt Jr. is lending his race day expertise to Budweiser to form the Bristol Bud Crew for the MLB Speedway Classic on August 2.  


The Bristol Bud Crew will hit the ground in Budweiser-inspired fire suits, featuring Earnhardt Jr.’s No. 8 and the Budweiser Clydesdale emblem, to get fans ready for the first-of-its-kind MLB event. Fans can find the Bristol Bud Crew at pre-game festivities, delivering an authentic race-day experience at Budweiser’s activation at the Speedway Classic Fan Zone and visiting select locations throughout Bristol to purchase an ice-cold Budweiser for 21+ fans.  
This collaboration comes on the heels of Budweiser, MLB and Earnhardt Jr.’s May announcement highlighting the return of the iconic No. 8 Budweiser / MLB All-Star Game paint scheme, which will be on display at the Speedway Classic Fan Zone, featuring the 2025 MLB Speedway Classic logo.


“Budweiser has been a part of some of the biggest moments in my career,” said Earnhardt Jr. “It’s nostalgic to bring back this iconic paint scheme and can’t wait for everyone to see it at the game. I know the Bristol Bud Crew will get the crowd pumped up for this historic event.”


As MLB hosts its first game in Tennessee, a baseball diamond will be built at one of NASCAR’s most famous venues for a special regular season contest between the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds. Budweiser, as the longest tenured sponsor of MLB, is joining the celebration by offering fans access to see the Earnhardt Jr. 2001 MLB All-Star Game inspired show car, a chance to experience Budweiser and NASCAR racing simulators and the opportunity to see the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales on display at the Speedway Classic Fan Zone on Saturday, August 2. Fans 21+ can also enjoy a Budweiser-branded mobile bar with a roof deck and a chance to win custom MLB x Budweiser merch.

So, bringing together three American icons for MLB’s jewel event of the summer with the Bristol Bud Crew is something we can’t wait to create for our fans,” said Todd Allen, SVP of Marketing at Budweiser and Bud Light.


As the beer synonymous with baseball, Budweiser, alongside the Bristol Bud Crew, is continuing its commitment to honoring America’s favorite pastime at the MLB Speedway Classic and building on its decade-spanning partnership with NASCAR Hall of Famer Earnhardt Jr.


All MLB Speedway Classic ticketholders will have access to the Fan Zone, which opens at 12:00 p.m. on gameday. While limited inventory lasts, fans can secure tickets to the game and concert at MLB.com/SpeedwayClassic.
