Details on the next Brooklyn Brewing Brewmaster’s Reserve from the Brooklyn Brewing Blog: “We spend a lot of time with our pals in the cocktail world, and they are constantly putting new flavor combinations in front of us. One of my favorites is a Scotch-based cocktail called The Penicillin. Invented by bartender Sam Ross at Sasha Petraske’s famous NYC cocktail bar Milk & Honey, the Penicillin is an instant classic. It combines peaty Scotch, ginger-infused honey, and lemon juice. It’s an improbable blend, but it’s delicious, and it’s also the inspiration for our next Brewmaster’s Reserve beer, The Tonic. The government wouldn’t let us call the beer “Penicillin”, we’re afraid. But friends, between you and us, this brand new Tonic will cure many of your ills. Now take your Tonic and text us tomorrow.”

Just as restaurants often feature the Chef’s special new dishes, every 3-4 months our “Chef” and his team create a new draft beer for our Brewmaster’s Reserve line. Sometimes the beers are classical renditions. More often they are new creations that draw inspiration from the culinary world.
Our next Brewmaster’s Reserve is The Brooklyn Tonic. We’ll start shipping The Tonic in late May, so you can expect to find it at your better bars and restaurants (draft only) in early June.
To celebrate the release of our latest creation, we’ll be throwing a party on May 23. The event is exclusive but we’ve paired up with Untappd to give away 10* pairs of tickets to our local fans.
