We brought you details of the Brooklyn Brewery vs Harpoon  Super Bowl bet…and today comes word that NY Senator Charles Schumer will buy Smuttynose beer for every member of the Senate if the Patriots win and Senator Jeanne Shaheen must buy her fellow senators beer from Browns, Brooklyn, Blue Point Saranac Captain Lawrence or Ithaca if the Giants win. Apparently Schumer is pushing an “I Love NY Brew campaign” and this fits in nicely.
