Double Mountain–Hop Lava, IRA, Vaporizer & Kolsch

While I haven’t been lucky enough to get to try any Double Mountain Brewery beers, my sister-in-law was nice enough to not only go up and sample some beers for me AND get me a cool Double Mountain T-Shirt.  Doubled Mountain Brewery & Taproom is in Hood River OR, and they are actually using 500ml “heavy duty” bottles capable of being reused & refilled.  Up today we have Hop Lava Northwest IPA (7% ABV, 75 IBU), IRA Red IPA (6.5% ABV, 65 IBU) and Vaporizer Dry-Hopped Pale Ale (6% ABV, 55I

BU—using locally grown hops & Pilsner malts).  I love the label design (and my T-Shirt) and the beers sound tasty.

As a bonus here’s Kolsch (5.2% ABV)
