Alesmith – Bourbon Barrel 2010 Decadence Coming Soon

The time has come for us to release the Barrel-Aged version of the 2010 Decadence Old Ale. The 2010 Decadence Old Ale is one of Alesmith’s most award winning beers, having recently taken medals at both the 2011 Great American Beer Festival and the 2012 World Beer Cup. This highly acclaimed Old Ale was then aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels to add layers of complexity to it’s rich, malty profile. AleSmith Decadence Anniversary Ales are only brewed once, making the barrel-aged versions extremely rare. This will be the only sale of this beer- ever!

We’ll be releasing all bottles via pre-sale on Brown Paper Tickets (link below). Bottles will be priced at $30 per bottle with a 2 (two) bottle limit. We’ve completely restructured the release/sale of the bottles to avoid our customers having to lose a day of work waiting in line to purchase bottles. All bottles will be pre-sold starting August 10th and bottles will be available for pick up at AleSmith starting August 15th. Bottles will only be able to be retrieved with a valid ID and receipt during the following hours/days: Tuesday: 1-4pm, Wednesday/Thursday: 2-7pm, Friday: 2-8pm, Saturday: 12-7pm, Sunday: 12-6pm. We hope you’ll be patient with us as we work to find the formula for the best possible Barrel Aged Release. After we release this beer, we’ll take the opportunity to evaluate what may and may not have worked in regards to this release so we can make future releases even smoother and more enjoyable for all involved.
