Budweiser Launches “Buddy Cup” w/Chip & QR Code To Link to Facebook

An interesting innovation from Budweiser as they launch their new “Buddy Cup.”  This new innovation contains a chip and has a QR code on the cup that you can activate with your smartphone.  Once activated the cup is then linked to your Facebook page, and when you toast another activated Buddy Cup you become friends with that person.  Look for the Buddy Cup at selected Budweiser sponsored events in the future.
