Scratch #93 – Altbier was released in the Tasting Room today. A Düsseldorf specialty, Altbier is a top-fermented, moderately dark German-style ale that exhibits the dryness of a lager but also boasts pleasant fruity notes. The extended conditioning mellows the fruity characteristics to produce an exceptionally smooth, delicate, and balanced beer. Availability: draft and growler fills only.
