Interbrand Survey Ranks Budweiser as Top Beer Brand

In its annual global rankings, brand consultancy Interbrand named Budweiser as the top beer brand. Ranked No. 31 in a list of the Top 100 best brands globally, Budweiser was not only the highest ranking beer, but the best rated alcoholic beverage overall. Budweiser increased its ranking from No. 34 in 2014, reinforcing the brand’s relevance with beer drinkers globally.
“Budweiser has been brewing beer the hard way since 1876 and it’s great to see our commitment recognized,” said Brian Perkins, vice president, Budweiser. “We’re excited to be sharing Budweiser on a truly macro scale with beer drinkers around the world.”
Best Global Brands is an annual report from the branding experts at Interbrand. The rankings assess the financial performance of a brand, the role of a brand in influencing customer choice, and the strength a brand has to commend a premium price or secure earnings for a company.
