Exciting release news coming from Creature Comforts Brewing:
We are very excited to release our next small batch of innovation beer, Fulcrum, in cans on Tuesday, 9/5! This is a dry-hopped Pilsner (4.3%) with notes of straw, herbal, grassy, cracker, & citrus. The Take Away:
This pilsner presents nice grassiness, herbal, fresh baked bread, and then delicate citrus notes that goes between nectarines, grapefruit, and oranges on the finish. We used a mix of American and German hops with German malts – that combo lays out the sensory notes with citrus coming from Crystal (the American hop) and the nice herbal grassy quality from Hallertau Mittlefrüh, which gives this beer a great overall impact when you have your sip, but it certainly doesn’t overextend it’s welcome. It’s light and succinct and finishes with a pleasant minerality.
