Victory Adding New Sour Monkey Remix Bottles

Today we get our first peek at an updated classic brew coming to bottles (and kegs) from Victory Brewing in Downingtown, PA.  This is Sour Monkey Remix and it is a sour brettanomyces triple that is now aged in Chardonnay wine barrels.  This former brewpub-exclusive version will climb in at 9.5%-ABV and you’re looking at the 750ml bottle.  The bottle is marked for 2018 release so stay tuned here for more details.  This is the commercial description from Victory:

Composition

Flavor

Pours a slightly hazy dirty blonde hue. Aroma is full of white oak, vanilla, and acidity. Flavor has a similar contribution but with a rounded flavor to the acidity to cut on its bite. Lemons, oak, tart brew. Bone dry finish. Very balanced and drinkable.
