Hoppin’ Frog – Maple Whiskey Barrel-Aged B.O.R.I.S. & Gold Band Export

Today we have two new bottles coming from Hoppin’ Frog Brewing in Akron, OH.  Maple Whiskey Barrel-Aged B.O.R.I.S. is an oatmeal Russian imperial stout aged in rare Canadian maple Whiskey barrels.  This beer hits 9.4%-AbV & 60 IBU and it will be packaged in 12oz bottles (and yes it looks very much like CBS).  We also have Gold Band Export Lager.  This Bohemian dunkel celebrates the original brew of Louis Z Foerster and it will hit 6.3%-AbV & 20 IBU.  This beer will be packaged in 22oz bottles and both bottles will carry the Independent Craft Seal from the Brewers Association.  Stay tuned here for release info.
