Bear Republic Adding Viking Beach Party IPA, IPA ‘19, Challenge Series 10 & 58

Find this first on mybeerbuzz.com:  This morning we have a bunch of new packages coming soon from Bear Republic Brewing in Cloverdale, CA.  Viking Beach Party IPA is brewed with white wheat and a late hop addition of Citra, Ekuanot and Azacca hops.  This “bone-dry” IPA will march in at 8%-AbV and this is the 16oz can.  We also have Hop ‘19 Double Juicy and it is brewed with “barbarian yeast” and a late addition of Mosaic, Azacca and Citra hop (8.5%-AbV, 12oz bottles).  I’ve also added in Challenge Series 10 A Myrcene IPA with Chinook, HBC 431 & Centennial hops (6.8%-AbV, 16oz cans) & Challenge Series 58 Uber Dank IPA with Simcoe, Ella, Vic Secret & Sabro hops (7%-AbV, 16oz cans).  Stay tuned for full release details & yes the final labels will be in color.

Challenge Series #58 Uber Dank IPA
CLOVERDALE, CA (August 9, 2019) #58 Uber Dank IPA is the fourth release of the Challenge Series. This Uber Dank IPA is aggressive in its aromatic pleasure as Simcoe, Ella, Vic Secret, Sabro and Columbus hops contribute a piney, grape fruity, tropical and diesel dank aroma.
“Each addition in the Challenge Series lineup is a fresh take on the IPA style, each beer tastes unique and is only brewed once. #58 is a personal favorite, like the name suggests its dank aroma pulls you in upon first pop, with pleasantly toasty malt, and a sticky icky hop finish. Uber Dank IPA is an 7.0% ABV ale. Challenge Series #58 UBER DANK IPA
ABV: 7% – IBU: 50
Tasting Notes:
Featured Hops: Simcoe, Ella, Vic Secret, Sabro, Columbus
Malts: Pale Two-Row, Biscuit
Yeast: House Ale
Overall: Uber Dank IPA #58 is the fourth release of the Challenge Series. This IPA is aggressive in its aromatic pleasure. Simcoe, Ella, Vic Secret, Sabro and Columbus hops contribute a piney, grapefruity, tropical and diesel danklike smell. The Pale and Biscuit malts work to create a clean flavor to enhance the aroma. The house yeast strain rolls it all together. This beer comes in at 7%, so don’t let it be a creeper.

Challenge Series 19, a hazy IPA clocking in at 6.9% will release next week. We’ve hopped this ale with Chinook, Calypso, Comet and Bravo. The finish is citrusy and fruit forward. Look for it at our brewpub on Friday, general market release next week. More details to follow
