October’s haul of special release radness is inbound, and it contains straight-up terrifying amounts of flavor-sorcery. A bangin’ new Foeder-aged pils, a duo of enchantingly delicious collabs (including a hazy TIPA!), barrel-aged decadence, fruit-laden funk, a ridiculously tasty Oktoberfest lager, and some serious dankness are all on the menu, and yours for the taking as of this Saturday morning. What a time to be alive.
Quantities–as per usual–are limited, so make sure you’re ready when the sale starts on Saturday at 10AM if there’s anything you can’t live without. Pick-ups will begin 10/16 in San Diego / Los Angeles / Encinitas and 10/18 in Portland / Santa Barbara.

FOEDER ICE DRY-HOPPED W/ SAPHIR
Our year-round pilsner spent two glorious months in our heavy-toast oak foeders before a generous dry-hopping with this magical German hop variety. The resulting beverage is a deliciously complex, 4.8% bundle of citrusy joy wrapped in a delicate oaky blanket.

SINGULAR RHYTHMS W/ GEWÜRZTRAMINER GRAPE MUST & NELSON HOPS
Dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin and meticulously layered with Gewürztraminer grape must, this iteration of our funky, Foeder-aged saison bursts with funk-laden tropical fruit, white wine, stone fruit, and gentle notes of vanilla-kissed oak.

CHRONOS COG
This impossibly crisp Oktoberfest lager was brewed with Munich II malt from Weyermann Specialty & generous whirlpool additions of Spalter Select hops. After plenty of lagering, it victoriously emerged from the tanks as a clear, light amber beverage with a fluffy white head and notes of biscuit, spice, and delicate floral character. It’s virtually guaranteed to elicit sighs of satisfaction and a desire for a second pint.

Our latest collab with our Vermont homies at Shacksbury is a funky cider with wild-foraged apples that we aged in red wine barrels for five beautiful months. The result is a journey of oak-laced funky complexity that will make you exceedingly pleased with your beverage selection.

MEGA DEVIL’S TEETH AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS: NOLA COFFEE EDITION W/ ALMONDS
We blended two batches of this stunningly delicious bourbon barrel-aged imperial dessert stout and added copious amounts of house-roasted Black House blend coffee, chicory, and toasted almonds. The result is a beverage of decadent complexity that we think does the Big Easy proud.

ASTRAL PRISM DIPA
We started this absurdly tasty DIPA with a hefty malt bill of Weyerman Extra Pale Premium Pilsner, white wheat, chit, and a whole lot of rolled oats. Then, we hopped the living hell out of it with Nelson, Mosaic, and Amarillo, yielding a hazy marvel bursting with juicy pineapple, mango, white grapes, and stone fruit, with a light floral character on the finish. We’re pretty frickin’ psyched about this one, and we’re relatively confident you will be, too.

• While the rest of the sale has the standard 2-month pick-up window (ending 12/13/2019), the pick-up window for Astral Prism DIPA, Visible World DIPA, & Why Do Birds Suddenly Appear TIPA is 30 days only. That means that the last day to pick these up is on 11/15/2019. No exceptions.

The first day to pick-up bottles and cans will be 10/16 in San Diego / Los Angeles / Encinitas and 10/18 in Portland / Santa Barbara. We’ll be hosting release parties at all locations on their respective first days for pick-up. We’ll have a bunch of special beers on tap, and there will be no shortage of good vibes, so that’d be a pretty ideal time to grab your beers.
