Firestone Walker Barrelworks Adding Blue Love

This morning we bring you another new bottle coming from Firestone Walker Barrelworks in Buellton, CA.  This is Blue Love and it is a “selection of 18-31 month aged” Lil Opal Saison Farmhouse Ale fermented with Blue Crop Washington-state blueberries.  The beer will roll in at 6.4%-AbV and it will be packaged 1/12/20 in a limited run of 900 cases of 375ml bottles.  Stay tuned for release info.

A NEW WILD ALE WITH BLUEBERRIES
Pucker up and get ready for Blue Love, our first-ever wild ale made with blueberries. We took our saison farmhouse ale, Lil’ Opal, as the base beer then fermented it with Bluecrop blueberries resulting in a vibrantly purple beer with just the right amount of tart.
