Woodchuck® Hard Cider Releases Cellar Series Ginger & Private Reserve Belgian White

Woodchuck Cellar Series Ginger is the most recent addition to the Cellar Series, a line of limited cider featured in a 22-ounce bottle. Ginger combines the taste of crisp culinary apples with a touch of spice in the form of fresh ginger. The organic ginger root is hand cut at the cidery and immediately infused into the fermented cider using Woodchuck’s custom infusion tank. The result is a true representation of ginger, with spicy citrus undertones that play perfectly against the sweetness of the culinary apple varieties in the cider. Cellar Series Ginger is 6.9% alcohol by volume and available nationally through July.

“This cider is truly unique, and a perfect example of how we are constantly working to give cider lovers something new,” said Woodchuck cider maker John Matson. “The fresh ginger adds a special spice to this cider which pairs perfectly with a warm summer day.”

Woodchuck is also re-introducing its popular Private Reserve Belgian White Cider. The cider is crafted with a classic Belgian beer yeast. Cloudy with a rich golden hue, it presents a delicate aroma and taste, with coriander and orange notes. It pairs excellently with seafood, mixed greens and sharp cheeses, and will be available in limited quantities through August.
