Here’s another new bottle coming from Wicked Weed Brewing in Asheville, NC. This is Recurrant and it is an American sour ale fermented with black currants (1-pound per gallon) in freshly emptied Cabernet wine barrels. This beer will be packaged in 500ml bottles (and kegs) and Recurrant will settle in at 7.6%-AbV….and yes this looks to be their former Canvas Series beer with a slightly lower AbV.
