Groundbreaking starts Wednesday on the new $5 million Wicked Weed production brewery in Enka, the latest construction project on the booming Asheville craft beer scene.
Wicked Weed is building its expansion at the Enka Commerce Park west of Asheville. The 40,000-square-foot building will let Wicked Weed ramp up brewing production to 50,000 barrels of beer annually, making it one of the larger brewers in the region. The brewery will add 82 jobs.
