Construction is scheduled to begin next month on an expansion project that will triple the brewing capacity at Bell’s Upper Hand Brewery in Escanaba.
Site plans for two additions – totaling $900,000 in construction costs for 6,000 square feet at the beer brewing and bottling company – were approved by the city’s planning commission at its regular meeting Thursday.
