Troegs Adding New Splinter Series Freaky Peach Pennsylvania Sour Ale (Coming Early April)

Good morning PA!  Today I’m excited to bring you a new Splinter Series bottle and beer coming from Troegs.  This is Freaky Peach and it is a Pennsylvania Sour Ale fermented with peaches and apricots and aged in Bourbon barrels.  This beer will hit 8%-AbV and it will be released in 12.7oz bottles.  Stay tuned here for release info.

Oh wow. They say the nose knows, but Freaky Peach pulls a fast one. Its aroma promises charred caramel and grilled stone fruit, but the flavor delivers waves of bright peaches, spun sugar and whiskey sour. It’s young. It’s tart. It’s super-freaky.
