Stillwater Artisanal Launches 3 New "Contemporary Works" (Mono, Stereo & Surround)

Artists notoriously struggle to think and work outside of "the box," but outside of the box can be also be it’s own trap, and suddenly your once freedom-seeking headspace becomes encapsulated in some other metaphorical shape.

So, to expand our artistic vision and celebrate the fifth anniversary of our peculiar project, we’ve decided to expand upon our already extensive list of twisted takes on tradition and introduce the Stillwater aesthetic to the world of modern design and brewing culture.

Presenting the first series in the ongoing "Contemporary Works" project:

Mono Galaxy Dry-Hopped Pilsner
5.2% ABV
An evolution of the "single hop" phenomenon. While Galaxy is featured on the label, the concept here is to showcase this headliner in it’s greatest form possible, and if you ask me every hop is better when supported by others. So accents of Centennial & Sterling to widen the frequency and crank up the volume of bright tangerine, grapefruit, and fresh grass.

Stereo India Pale Ale
7.0% ABV
Stillwater IPA?? WTF, right? Well truth be told we love a good IPA just as much as the next guy and besides, what’s more contemporary then a American IPA? The lean base of Pilsner malt with the lightest touch of caramel support this high definition blend of 6 intricately layered hops gathered from around the world. Bright citrus, stone fruit, pine, earth, dank, crisp & fucking delicious.

Surround Imperial Oak-Smoked Wheat Stout
10.0% ABV
Like a sound system that fills the room with audibles swarming in every direction. This massive stout overtakes your senses with aromas & flavor of dark chocolate, caramel, roast, smoke, earth & wood, It’s heavy I know, but you have to drop that bass every once in a while if you really wanna get down.
