Southern Star Brewing Company, a beloved independent craft brewery in Conroe, Texas, has proudly served the community since 2008. Located at 3525 N. Frazier St., Conroe, TX 77303, Southern Star has long been known as a premier destination for craft beer lovers, brewery tours, live events, and family-friendly dining experiences in Montgomery County, Texas.

Southern Star Brewing Company Closing – June 28, 2026

After many incredible and unforgettable years serving Conroe, TX and the greater Houston craft beer community, Southern Star Brewing Company has announced the difficult decision to officially close its doors on June 28, 2026.

This marks the end of an era for one of the most recognized names in the Texas craft beer scene, known for iconic brews like:

  • Bombshell Blonde Ale (a flagship Texas craft beer favorite)
  • Buried Hatchet Stout (award-winning craft stout in Texas)
  • Le Mort Vivant (a cult classic among Southern Star fans)
